Lotus Announces Quality First Program

A spokesman for Lotus announced today the institution of a new quality assurance program. Noting that auto buyers of the 21st Century, including buyers of exotic sports cars, expect a high level of quality and performance, the spokesman stated that: Past mistakes such as the red hose, mad cow sounding car horns, poor wiring harnesses and driver’s side droop would no longer be tolerated.
As the first step in the Quality First Program, Lotus has obtained several house cats. It is hoped that the wiring harness problems will be solved as the cats reduce the number of mice in the plant.
