the price for V8 timing belts...

I was about to order timing belt for 98 V8 from Germany..
but the price was 134Euro per each belt.
and also for the tensioner, it was 118Euro per each.

is this reasonable price?
does it cost (134Ex2)+(118x2)= 504Euro
it is about $680(american dollar) only for parts.

please let me know what should I do.

Sounds a little high but I don't know V8 prices that well.

I purchased belts and tensioners last July... prices were $112.62 per belt and $98.45 per tensioner. Cambelt service tools cost quite a bit more.... about $1K.

Yes thats the downside on a high Euro exchange rate ... its really a pain these days with 1 Euro = 1.3 USD (

Is the Euro too high or is it the US Dollar that is just too weak ?
