Anyone have any ideas where I can get or if there is a system for an 82 S3 that isn't going to cost me £3000?

Cheers in anticipation

On my 1989 esprit, the air conditioning compressor (pump) is idenical to those from early 1980's to mid-1980's Peugot 505 or 504. Even the threaded connectors are bang-on and at the right location. The brand is '"Sanwick" if memory serves me right. I recall BMW (e.g. 302) have near identical pumps as well.

The freon lines can be fabricated at any AC shop. The drier is a typical part (say from a GM), but the heat exchanger (in the dash) will likely be a custom part.

Hope this helps.

I have an Air Conditioning Condenser from an S3 (Front Radiator) that I'll be selling in the very near future.
