Has anyone tried to change the glassback on his pre-93 Stevens Esprit in the US with the updated "open tailgate" look (i.e. oval vents for engine cooling design).

Is this feasible at all?

Just get a rear hatch and engine cover for a 93-95.
Pretty easy.
