Differences in US spec vs Euro?
Discussion
In the S4s, US spec has no wheel arches and has 16" S4 wheels. Euro spec has wheel arches and OZ Futura's 17" front 18" rear. Euro spec has 300bhp, US spec has 285bhp (that's just from the specs in the US magazines). All US S4s are '95 build, while euro models were made in '96 and '97 as well, and of course the steering wheel.
I don't know about the other models.

USA-spec S4s' had 1-piece OZ-Lotus 17 wheels front and rear (same as the S4) as standard equipment.3-piece OZ Futura wheels also in 17 front and rear were available as an option. However, these wheels were different in dimension than the non-USA version.
All S4s' (USA and non-USA) had 285HP. 300HP is the peak horsepower stated prior to heatsoak. Some markets just use the higher figure.
The S4s was only built in 1994 (1 car) and 1995 (331 cars). Some of the cars were sold as 1996 Model Year in some markets, but they were still actually built in 1995.
Steering wheels were only different in markets where airbags were not mandatory.
All the differences are stated in the Esprit Fact File.

30 S4s's were built in '96 and 5 were built in '97 for non US markets.
The two I had/have were built in Oct '96 and Nov '96 according to their VIN(both 'T') and engine numbers(9610 & 9611).
