Track events in New England area
Discussion
I'm interested, but my Esprit is currently engine-less. I might be able to make the May dates (but doubtful, since I don't think I'll have the bugs worked out until later.) I assume there will be track days later in the year which I'd love to attend (with a friend with a Mini S and another with an S4S.)

There are quite a few days later in the year with a variety of groups (BMWCCA, Porsche Club, SCDA, TrackMasters). As I sign up, I'll post dates so taht anyone looking for company will have some.
Stay well,
Paul
Paul- Are you driving the Loti..or do you have a track car.
I am having the timing belt changed in the Lotus in March. Should be ready for April, but I am not ready for SCCA on NHIS. I may come to watch. Last year I did Autocross in the Viper at NHIS with NHSCCA, that was a blast.
I have plans to take the Lotus Guys around the South Coast of ME on Sunday April 19th.

This is just a BMWCCA DE course, not SCCA, but fun nonetheless. It would be great to be able to get together at some point. Not too many people interested in bringing their Loti to the track, but my perspective is these things are made to have fun and you can't have much more fun in a car than you can on the track.

Well, looks like it is going to be close.
Michael Fridmann (www.michaelsmotorsports.com/) is working feverishly to finish installing the intercoolers, Quaiffe LSD, racing harnesses, straight pipes and yellow powdercoated plenum and camcovers. The R-compound rubber is mounted on the original Saturns and are being balanced today (Magnesiums will be for street use. I know, the Techno Magnesios are lighter and look better, but Michael advised not risking them on he track).
I am praying that all will be together before my first track day on March 29th. Track money ($165) is non-refundable and I was really looking forward to having some fun at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.
Stay well and send "good vibes" my way,
Paul
