Hopefully someone can help on this:

I made the error of leaving my car alone for just a hair over two minutes. Within that time frame a "souveneir seeker" managed to lift off the little Lotus emblem on the center cap from a 1993.5 wheel. It's a 1 5/8" aluminum disc with the standard green/yellow lotus insignia. I've looked at chopping one of the normal SE plastic inserts but they are 2" in diameter.

Does anyone have a spare they'd be willing to part with or knows of where to source one. I'm willing to pay obviously. I don't know if Bean or JAE would be willing to lick just a few in an envelope.

Plan B would be to get a stencil made up and paint up a batch on aluminum blanks. If someone has a cleaned up graphic that they are able to share would sure save a lot of time cleaning up the "jaggies" from a scan.

Plan C would be to get a variety of decals made up on a silver foil material so that I could have extras. It's pricey for a one-off however but I could order different sizes within the minimum order.

Meanwhile I'll warm up on my airbrushing skills.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Thank you Calvin:

Talked to Ray today; I wonder how many of these wheels are out there as no one seems to recall them. Sent him photos but he did not have anything suitable.

I think Lotus must have ordered just enough of these wheels until the JDM brake parts ran out. Then switched to the S4 stuff.

Oh well, made an aluminum blank, printed out a stencil, have shot the yellow, then we'll do the green and clear.

P.S. There is a fellow in the U.K. that is doing a resin coated domed blob quite reasonably. Less than 20 quid for five but they are on a 45mm die. Just a bit too large for my needs unfortunately. They'd be perfect for the OZ Ruote wheels tho.
