To those with T3/T4 hybrid turbos
Discussion
I need a favor...
Could someone please go take a look at the exhaust housing on their hybrid and tell me what A/R is stamped onto it. It is located just above the exhaust manifold flange on the side closest to the turbo's center section. I know that it can be kind of a pain to see with the turbo installed, but with a flashlight and a squirt of brake clean, it can be read.
I'm just curious if most of the hybrids are utilizing the factory .48A/R housing, or have been changed to a .55A/R.
Also, any post install comments are highly welcome...
Thanks a bunch

Htown:
The exhaust housing supplied with my hybrid T3/T4 is a stock piece with "AR-48" cast into it. I believe Lotus uses a unique mounting flange and turbine/wastegate outlet so you are stuck using this housing if you intend to keep the stock exhaust manifold and down pipe. In my case, I'm fairly sure (but not positive) a stock exhaust turbine was "clipped" to increase the flow.

Hi Craig,
Yes, Brian is absolutely right. The Lotus turbine housing is unique. If you want to keep your downpipe layout original you have to keep the housing.
