Have you come across a rare or eye-catching example of an Esprit whilst on your day to day travels and managed to to grab a photo? Well the sole purpose of this thread is for like minded Esprit lovers to post their discoveries. There are so many fantastic and unusual cars out there that don't get the recognition or exposure they deserve, so let's do our bit and share our sightings with the rest of the community.

Hello, Just popped in from the Porsche section to let you know I saw a beautiful red Esprit this moring on the M5 in Somerset. Had a reg number which almost spelt ESPRIT and it looked jaw droppingly gorgeous amongst the boring box shaped cars around it.
The driver was good enough to open it up so we could make progress together for a few miles.

Now that takes me back. A nice Esprit in original body shape with a properly sorted engine/chassis. Glass roof for ventilation without the complication of A/C. Perfect! An unusual colour too.

Just don't remind me about the set of bottle brushes for cleaning those BBS wheels....

Now that looks very much like a "Federal" car to me. Where did you own it?

I used to have an '85 some years ago. Now I've gone the other way and drive a C7 Stingray in UK.
