Thanks Doc, I was afraid of that. I'm investigating SJSportcars, they have a pair for about $120. Just don't know how much it will cost to ship here from England.

you can fab up a set for maybe $30 in parts from home depot. The cables on my car were cut at the calipers (grrrr) and I took them apart to fix them... very simple to make a new set by hand.
The problem with mine is that the outside sheath is torn apart in certain areas. I can't just buy cable and run it through the sheath. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I had these replaced on my S3 about 10 years ago iirc. They cost well over £100 then about I was charged about £250 labour as well !! When I asked why it was so much they showed me what they had to do to get them off and replaced. They had to take half the car to bits. The $200 for the cables will be the cheap bit comapred to the labour charge.
