Hi,
My step dad owns an E Registered 2.2 HC S3. its the non-turbo variety. He bloody loves it, and constantly goes on and on about it. Its his birthday soon and I'm trying to track down a service or workshop manual for the car. I know in the book stores is nearly £80+ which is a little too much that am prepared to spend! but i've seen guys on ebay and other sites selling the S4 manuals on CDROM.

I suppose my question is, can I get an S3 manual on CDROM or am I gunna have the shell out eighty notes! If anyone has got one (a CD or book) please can you contact me?

Cheers all, - Nice site by the way....
Jamie.

I recommend watching eBay. I picked up both the manuals for under $100US. Granted they were used, but overall in great shape. The workshop manual covers all models of the third generation Esprits both turbo and N/A as well as domestic, US and European specs (so even if you find the books on the US eBay site, they are still valid for the non-US S3.)

I did scan my workshop manual to PDF as a "backup" but I'm not comfortable sharing this unless you already own the manual (for copyright and other reasons.)

Thanks for the response. yeah, i see your point. I just thought it would put a smile on his face.

Can't find one for under £90! nuffin on any Ebay, think he might have to do without.

Thanks anyway,
J.

There are a couple of Esprit 88-92 manuals on Ebay UK at the moment. Do a search for 'service notes' and you should find them.

Have not seen or heard of a G-car (S1,2 & 3) CD manual (legit or otherwise).
The '88-'92 one is a PDF scan of the books (see seperate thread), would imagine 'IF' a manual for the S3 exists on CD, it would be a similar 'homemeade' style.

...and of course probably legally dubious too
