Hi guys,

This is the situation i'm in, I'm seving an appernticeship on an offshore oilrig in the north sea off aberdeen. In about 15 months time i will come out of my time and I should get taken on by my sponsoring company. Then I will then get a substansial wage hike, and I will be able to affored to run somthing a bit more...exotic! I've always been 'into' cars and have been messing about in the garage ever since I can remember (with my dad). He now has a Ferrari 512 BB which is amazing! I am completely in love with the thing, but obviously i cant afford one just yet, so I'm looking to get on the sports car ladder. My first choice would definately be an esprit if I can afford one. My question is this which model should I go for, i'm not too worried about it being superquick, any esprit would be quick enought for me to start with! So what do you reckon for between 7,500 and 10,000? I've seen quite a few on autotrader ads but its difficult to know the condition of the car. Any imformation from any of you guys would be greatly apprecited so I can start doing a bit of reaserch!

Thanks in advance

Mally

Hi Mally,

The best trick is go to www.espritfactfile.com and you will know a lot about Esprits.
But to make a long story short:
Buy the newest you can (with a FSH).
Hope to ear from you to present us our car.

Read everything on espritfactfile, and lotusespritworld this should give you just about all the info you'll need.

Also, suggest you join up on the uk yahoo group for the esprit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/UKLotusEsprit/
