Well, according to my database:
http://home.flash.net/~hess/crystal_princess.htm
the front upper ball joints are the same as a Triumph Spitfire. If you find any other cross (ball joint or not), let me know.

Is it a Toyota part? I haven't heard that. If it is, it should be pretty easy to match up. The Moog ball joint books are pretty detailed.

And I don't think the TMC brakes are bad. I think the bad part is the lack of cooling to them. I don't think TMC anything is bad with the exceptions of that 12 valve motor and seat belt reel springs which seem to only last 10 years before getting weak.

oops let me clarify;
i wish the ball joints were TMC (and probably everybody else does too) cos they make good parts and can be had inexpensively at the neighborhood parts store.
however, the TMC brakes are the least desirable of the units available for the esprit. everybody including me wants a caliper upgrade if only for aesthetic reasons
on a side note, the only thing bad i have to say about Toyota is that they keep missing the target witht the MR2 and thats a real shame

So is the Esprit's ball joint a Triumph Spitfire's then . . . or not? Still waiting to hear the final answer.

Just the upper one. Haven't seen anyone come up with a cross-ref for the lower.

The lower is a Vauxhall (GM) one. These hardly ever go, so no need to replace them.
