Heater control vacuum line, where to find?

Okay, I know it's unplugged in the engine compartment and I've traced it back (from the cabin side) to the rear of the cabin. I just can't find where it pokes into the engine bay! I've checked the wiring diagrams, but it doesn't show up anything and the service manual doesn't help. Has anyone located it or do they notice where it's going? It's a hard plastic tube on my 95 S4, I need to route it back to the electric vac. pump, it's gettin cold!

it runs through the area on top of the passenger side fuel tank under the 1/4 window removeable carpeted panel.

Is this what you were asking?

is this in a LHD car? I've searched to no avail.. is it tied in with the other wiring harness.....

Have you got the Lotus manual CD? If so go to page 307 item 5.
