Thanks to everyone who replied to my last message about my ABS light being on all the time. I suggested that the pressure switch could be at fault to the garage following your advice and sure enough it was! This saved me a lot of money as the garage suggested that the ABS system should be removed!

Good news ,i love it when you can get one over some scumbag mechanic who doesn't know what hes talking about! Remember simplist things first,but to be fair the Lotus notes on the ABS system are completely misleading as the they seem to rely on the ABS computer fault codes which by their very nature are only as good as the infomation that it recieves from its various components located through out the car.

HI,
I got a 1991 Esprit, and when ever I hit the brakes hard at all the ABS light flashes til I shut the car off it seems to reset and stops, till I hit the brakes again and it comes back on.
