Clacking sound

When I start my 91 SE there's a clacking sound coming from the front of the engine somewhere. It is throttle dependant and lessens after the engine warms up. It will still make the noise when warm, but only for a second during fairly quick throttle up. I have replaced the alternator and the vacuum pump but the problem still exists. Does this sound like a loose timing belt?

Maybe a bad tensioner
