I have a 94 Espirit S4. The boost gauge pegs everytime yoiu turn the car on and stays there until the key is turned off. All wiring appears good after checking with an mulitmeter. I need to know what the resistance (ohm) reading of the boost transducer (changes vacuum/pressure readings to an electrical signal that the boost gauge can read)should be with the engine off or at idle. Right now it is open and won't read anything with the car on or off.

Can anyone please point me in the correct direction in order to find this spec?

Thank you very much in advance for any help.

I just found today that if the connector at the bottom of the gauge is not connected/tipped partially on/bent downward it will peg the needle. Simple reconnect/squaring the connector with the gauge put it back where it should be. That would tell me to check continuity between the sender and the gauge!
Good luck

Thanks for the tip however I've determined that the gauge itself is actaully bad.
