Very nice here in Ontario...
Cool ( zero ) sunny and dry
i know the tires wont grip at all but i am going out for a little drive.

I think that I am soooo close to having all the things sorted with my S4s and I have to put her away.
Just he rubber shift boot left to do and everything would be perfect.

The dealer is so calm and relaxed. they took 4 months to get me some simple vacuum elbows and not even the slightest concern. they I ordered some grey floor mats and they only got in beige ones...Said grey is NLA... not even a "sorry sir". they actually got in a black set for me then before i came in to see them they sold them to another customer. now they are trying to push the beige ones for my grey car.. sheesh.

New glass roof and gasket is on, Ac working,
the best thing i did was have a the shifter mechanism lubricated from front to rear.. Much much nicer now.

OK, ill check in later,, who else is taking a last drive..?

oh yea also i would like to find a pile of SilacaGel. where do i get this?

gonna try to hang on at least through december. hopefully we'll have a mild winter here in NJ and I'll be able to sneak in a weekly drive. I went for a drive here today in near freezing temps and it wasnt so bad. My heater is broken but drive the car properly and she eminates enough warmth to keep me happy.

greezmonkey, where you at in NJ? We are going for a nice 2 hour drive on Sunday. We are meeting at the Rockaway Mall around noon. If it is at all close to you, you should stop by.

why all the worries about the cold? are there snow tires that fit your rims? ideally, you could also raise the ride height on demand. i for one am not ready to give up on winter driving.

I'm all set,

Got my snow chains fitted and 250lbs of sand bags in place of the spare tire for steering grip.

Let is snow!!

My 1991 325iX with viscous couplings and NO electronic aids is enough for me in the winter..
I think that it can pull away from most traffic when it snow.. there is no better winter ride.. i cant find one anyway.
