I am sad to report that I have sold one of the best cars I have ever owned.

I must confess to feeling a real sense of loss to see her new keeper driving away.

Good luck to Steve. I hope he is always as delighted with the car as he plainly was this afternoon.

It was sold as a result of his speculative approach after seeing the car on Pistonheads.

Thanks to all who frequent this forum, who have been a constant source of inspiration, friendship and help.

See you guys around.

Cheers

Pat

if it's any consolation, you kept her beautifully. i personally prefer the G-type to the S-type. please buy another one if the opportunity arises.

So, what's next???
Something with a V8 and preferably a rag top.

Top of the list is a TVR Griffith, though a mint SEAC would tempt me.

Second is a Ferrari 328 GTS, though the running costs are a bit frightening.

Third is the Esprit V8, though I'm a bit intimidated by the complexity, the marginal transmission and put off by the fact that it is another closed coupe.

So there you are. I used to be undecided, but now I'm not so sure.

Suggestions on a postcard, please.

Cheers

Pat,
Good luck. You have been good to chat with on this forum. Seems like the old guys are cycling out and now it is up to those remaining to carry on. It happened on the turbo list too.
