Hi All,

A while ago, some people were asking for more pictures of my pearl white Commemorative Esprit. Someone else just asked, so I guess I hadn't posted them to this group yet.

Thanks to my good friend Mark W., I have some new pictures after all the paintwork.

Also, here are some links for an Elise run that I went on this past weekend. Interesting to see the classic wedge shape in a sea of Elises.

I really like the pearl which does not show well in photos. A person in town just bought an SE in Pearl and I really like the looks of the car.

Thanks Calvin. Regretfully, that day was not a sunny one when the picture was taken. Hope to have more pics in the future on a sunny day. Personally, I think the pearl looks it's very best at night, especially when near neon and bright lights.

hi Roy,

nice job on the car, i also have an esprit in Pearl and yes they do look good against neons at night, seems to bring out the best. I see you also had the wheels done, did you also do these in pearl? as i think an under arch kit would really set them off a treat. I have put quite a few blue neons on mine and got to say very impressive againt the pearl paintwork.

enjoy

Thanks Pauli!
Yes, the wheels were re-painted in pearl white as well. All Commemoratives came with color-coded wheels, but they all tend to discolor over the years so I had mine re-done.

What year is your pearl Esprit? Any pictures? Would love to see some pictures.

Nice one Roy!

As alluded to above, pearl really does have a mystical quality to it...

That's good to hear, thanks Ernest. Honestly, after the car was in the shop for eight months after being vandalized, the only mystery I had was if they would ever get the pearl paint to match. Most of the car was re-sprayed, but one side was painted three times before they got it right!

Hi Roy,

i have about 200 pictures so far on the rebuild of my baby, which has taken me 3 years so far, and she is just about ready to come out, be run in and have some fun. I will post some pics soon, as i am going to display her a Donnington next year as i have done lots of trick (big boy racey type) type things to her for going on cruises with. I have also managed to keep the car in a way that i can turn her back into an original example, as when she comes to restoration time again (about 10 years) then i shall get her upto a concours standard and use her as a show car again, but not till i have had some fun in her (that`s why we go for the Esprit after all) Do you come to the U.K for the show?
Once again superb job on the car, it`s good to see.

Thanks Pauli!

Wow, three years and all those mods. Now I really want to see your Esprit! I'm sure many others would like to see as well. Can you post some? Regretfully, I'm in California, so I can't drive over to look at it.
