I got my PC 'out of the box' about a year ago. since then i have had to learn even the most basic functions from scratch. Was not so long ago this was something i could not do.

To send a picture in an Email you need to add it as an attachment. If you already have the pic on your computer make sure you have named it/given it a title.
This is because when you click to add an attachment, you will need to firstly click on the folder (eg my pictures/my folders/my scans Etc) that it is in. Then you will need to select it from the list of stuff you have on there. (If you did not name it then it will be just the photo or scans number, which if you have a lot of photos stored will be hard to tell if it's the one you want)

To host a picture on the web, you will need a web host like www.uploadit.org/index.php
You can join them free,or pay a bit extra for even more storage (you could do this later if you needed more).
You will choose the photos you want to host by the same process you used to e-mail them. Click browse on the hostsites screen, select the folder on your PC where the photo is,select the photo and then click 'upload' or whatever their last step is called. there will be a short wait (depending on the size/data of your photo) and then it will be 'hosted'.

When your image is hosted you can see it's URL in the address bar at the top of the screen, an image of mine on this host has this URL
http://premium.uploadit.org/clarkycat/front-flank-avatar.JPG
If you click on it you can see my picture. I got the URL here by putting the cursor over it on the host site, and then Right clicking the mouse and copying it. I then pasted it right here as you see it. (the highlighting happens automatically because the forum sees that it is a URL. You can use this copy-paste process to show links to any sites you want to tell us about too)

If you want the picture to appear rather than the URL, Then put a [pic] at the start of the URL and a [/pic] at the end. I have just done that to the one above and...

(the picture is one i have made small, was easier to use this as a demo because it did not make the screen wide forcing you to scroll left and right to read my text)

I had to Ask learn from scratch,so i'm kinda hoping my explaination takes into account the stumbling blocks i triped upon

Hope this helps.

Hope none of that was telling you to suck eggs,
I find it's better not to assume too much when
trying to make things easy.

PS, Hit your caps lock! (you are SHOUTING )
