I think we need a little more information to form an opinion...

The exterior looks to be in reasonable shape for it's age from the pictures. There could be considerable damage from stress fractures that won't show up in pictures of this resolution however. The interior looks well used - carpeting and center armrest could stand replacing, the stereo is missing, and the rest of the interior looks tired. The engine compartment looks clean, however it appears to be missing two spark plug leads, which probably means the car is not running. There is enough questions from the photos to suspect other issues underneath the car. If you don't have an opportunity to inspect the car or talk to the current owner, I would offer about half the asking price and see what happens.

Thanks for the advise !!!! The car is far away from home, (12 hours drive), but I will check for those cracks in the body., and will give him a fair offer like you said, half of the asking price...thanks again for your opinion..Rob

I love the original shape, but any S1 or S2 is lucky to be alive today considering Lotus quality at the time. It looks pretty good by most I have seen, take a look but inspect it with an experienced person.

Is it really in Venezuela or did I read the page wrong?
