Hi all,

I am wanting to buy a second set of wheels for my 95 S4s so that I can put winter tyres on these and get my OZs refurbished over the winter.
What would people recommend? Simply try to find a second set of OZs or go for something cheaper?
Also, do people actually make winter tyres in 285/35 sizes? I'm Googling away as we speak, but if anyone has any experience, I'd be very grateful!

Cheers,

Charles

OZ futuras are pretty rare - i know several S4s owners who've put V8 AWI or OZ Saturn single piece wheels on as these are easier to re-furb than the split rim futuras.

Some OZ Saturns for sale on LEW:

Thanks chaps... Those Saturn's look rather nice, I must say.
Also, I managed to find a tyre place that claims to do 285/35 R18 winter tyres... Though they don't have them in stock yet! He's going to call me back with a quote when he knows the price...

No, not even slightly... Winter (or better "Cold weather") tyres are compulsory in many places on the continent, including here in Luxembourg. They provide for better grip when the temperatures drop below 7 deg C due to the different compounds used.
I'm not laying my car up all winter, even if I don't take her out when it's icy and / or snowing! I'm certainly not crazy, whatever you are intimating!

Has anyone spotted it yet? The wheels on LEW are the same as the ones on Ebay. Buy it now for £850.
Was thinking of buying myself but I prefer the AWI's.
Iam hoping to borrow a set from my local Lotus Specialist while I get my refurbed over the winter.

Cheers,
