There were actually two sources for the 'famous' ski-rack. Lotus dealers had limited supplies of them and there was also an aftermarket manufacturer.
Given the fact that they were about as relevant as snow tires on a cruise ship, I suspect the production runs were small, and that most of them have since be reclaimed as beer cans...
