Cheers Dave have tracked down a Jag part (accumulator) for £75,but i really need to look at it to determine if its ok to use.The abs system on this S4s is such a pain, very simple idea just bloody expensive when it goes wrong.I am thinking of doing a list of cross referenced parts just for the AcDelco/Maraine system. That said i am getting quite a dab hand at trouble shooting these things !

Guys,

Here's the info you need. You can get a replacement accumulator from GMPartsDirect.com. The part number is 25528382. Price was about $87.

To install (15 minute job):

- de-pressurize the ABS (ignition off, firmly press brake pedal 40 times)
- place rags under the cannonball to catch all brake fluid that WILL spill
- unscrew the existing cannonball (watch your knuckles)
- lube the o-ring on the new cannonball with brake fluid
- screw in the new cannonball
- start ignition and press brake pedal to re-pressurize system
- make sure ABS pump only runs once every 5-7 presses of the pedal
- bleed brake system properly.

Cheers

that's funny, because I know a few people who've ordered stuff from them in the UK, including Lotus! (even heard it from the horses mouth a few weeks ago).
Iam planning on ordering a few parts myself soon.
