Oxford meet - what a great day!

What a wonderfull meeting! What a great day and what an experience it was for us! 
We are back in Cologne but we cannot realise all of the impressions we had the last 3 days!
The meeting at sunday left a lasting impression to my girlfriend and me and I'm shure, we will repeat this in the future. I will never forget this. I am very happy to meet all the "Esprit guys" and I want to thank you for the warm welcome. We had the feeling to be a part of "it".
The whole trip from Germany to England,
through the Eurotunnel, driving on the "wrong" side, and back to Cologne in three days with over 1.400 km was a great enjoyment for us (and the SE). It was fun, fun, fun!

I noticed your car at the meet from the website you have, it's great you came all the way from Germany to meet up - sounds like a fun road trip you had there !
I must say your car looks in great condition, I particularly like the descrete touches like the modification to the wing, the unique SE decals and the modifications to the grills you have done.
Did you manage to speak to Patrick with the Azure Blue GT3 ?(S4s look-alike), he comes from your part of the world too and is a top guy.
Nice seeing the car, hope to see you next time around !

I'm pleased that you like the modifications I made. I like the look of your V8 and the red colour.
I had a long conversation with Patrick. I have known him from some emails before. In Stanton we meet the first time. After the gathering we did a little "2-Esprit-Drive" to Woodstock where he showed us a beautifull park (Belheim Palace)
Unfortunately, there wasn't time enough to talk to everyone and to take a closer look at any Esprit.
So it's a "must" to come back again!
