This seems to be a question I can't find an answer for. The manual states that the addition or subtraction of one of the 1.5mm shims equals roughly 1 degree of caster change for the front. This is great because thats one of my issues. But can anyone tell me what the addition or subtraction of one of the 1.5mm shims in the rear translates to in degree of toe.

According to the manual, "as a rough guide the addition of 1mm of shim thickness at the radius arm mounting will reduce toe-in by approximately 0.35mm (.04 degrees)"
Have fun!
Jim,
The radius arm is the rear suspension main member. In the rear the addition of a shim will reduce toe-in (you are correct, for the rear). The original post was for caster in the front, adjusted by shimming the upper wishbones. Front Toe is controlled by adjusting the steering tie-rods as Dr. Hess said.
After adjusting front caster, the car should be aligned, as this could also change the toe in the front a small ammount.

Hey Travis,
I'm well aware of where the radius arm is as I've had too much experience in that area already if you know what I mean. Real PITA to adjust particularly the driver's side as I'm sure you know. Ever seen a broken pivot bolt?
What threw me was his question:
"But can anyone tell me what the addition or subtraction of one of the 1.5mm shims in the (rear) translates to in degree of toe."
Sounds to me like he's asking about the rear toe but after reading it again I wasn't sure, hence my last post.

Sorry Jim,
Aparently I can't read. I missed the word "rear" in his question. I see it now. DOH!
