Drop me a PM, I'm interested but I'm a fair way away so if it used to belong to someone here, or you've viewed it already I'd be interested to get your thoughts via PH email.
More generally - are the later Esprits in this shape (2000 on?) significantly better / differnt to the Sport 350 or 1990s V8gt or se?

It doesn't state the year, so it could be anything from '98 on. If it IS post 2001, then it will have the AP brakes and different ecu from the 350 sport.
Condition is everything, so don't be swayed by the year - the late lights are easy to fit. I did mine!
Don't know the actual car - it is at the top end for price, considering the miles.
LEW gives more details on changes over the years....

I spoke to the seller a while ago as a friend of mine in our local Club Lotus group was looking for one. From my conversation with the seller it all sounded good as it had just had a clutch fitted. My friend didn't want to spend that much which I thought was a bit silly because these late cars are going to be sought after now that the new Esprit probably won't be built so this is the last of the 'big' Lotus cars. I got the impression it was a good car although I didn't persue the matter any further. I think it has the later AP brakes and clutch but with any Lotus of this age I'd get a second opinion.
With some of the other v8 Turbos around considerably less and in appearing in just as good condition (judging photos only)I would say its too expensive, without actually going to see the car you can never tell but I dont think it offers anything extra over the others from the advert.
I have seen nicer ones go for considerably less.
