rear lights

Aside from the door handles, One thing I really dont like it the rear lights..... So I have just ordered a set of these.
(please try to ignore the crucified car they are on)




I have noticed the originals have a little lip on the top of the light section and the replacements do not..... Does the rear numberplate panel just unscrew?? (cant look at moment as car is in having some work done)

Yes the number surround unscrews from inside the boot (trunk), two or four philips headed screws on button washers through the carpet.

Turned up after only three days from ordering- very high quality and look awesome.

Will take a photo when they are on a decent car

Crikey, that car looks a bit serious, wonder what else they've done to it. Wonder if it's caged?

As for the lights, can you post some pics up once done, just for interest. I have a rear valance ready for the newer round lights but haven't got round to fitting.

Sorry I am keeping the old set as want to keep them in case new owner (when I sell) wants to revert to originals.

The above car has had lots of upgrades but nothing really done to the engine, its a basic '88 turbo the same as mine. I think some are ok but some are just making a gorgeous car fecking ugly.

I will post a pic of mine when I get around to doing it- hopefully this weekend if I get time.
