Can anyone recommend a new exhaust system made specifically for a '90 SE. My turbo went out and I would like to replace the exhaust while I have it all apart. I also want to remove the cat converter since they don't test for emissions here in MO. Does anyone know if there will be much of a performance increase after this upgrade?
Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan there was a custom exhaust made from stainless steel by a Turbo Esprit list memeber with CART affilations of some kind. All the 4 cyl. owner that have seen and heard the set up love it. and the price is much more reasonable than other set up we have seen.

I went to Haywood and Scott who wanted £750 and a 7 week wait. Eventually sourced mine by getting it built on the car by Blue Flame Performance in Skelmersdale in polished stainless steel (they are the only people in the UK who can do it) for £350. They now have a pattern from building mine and can do it mail order - Blue Flame are otherwise known as Mongoose. They replaced my cat (pre91 car) with another small silencer which means the system is 10dB quieter than the original but with great reduced turbo lag and a nice deep note.
