Yesterday I lost the turbo on my '90 SE and am looking for someone who can rebuild it for me. Any leads would be very helpful. It never worked right since I got the car, only delivered .5 bar boost. Then it started working beautifully just before it quit completely. Car runs great, but the turbo makes a terrible noise at 3K RPMs, sounds like a sick police siren with a nice grinding noise. You can hear it spin down for several seconds after running the car. This car is a lot more fun to drive with the turbo just in case you were wondering. Many Thanks!!!

I would be interested in knowing more about the Hybrid turbo, particularly reliability and performance info would be of interest. I also want to upgrade my exhaust while I have it all apart. I would like to bypass the cat. converter since we do not have emissions regulations in my area.

Neil Mickelwright from a CART racing team has fabricated a 4 cyl. SS muffler that the performance and sound is awesome from what I have heard of. He made it for his personal car and selling a few of them to defray R&D by his fabricator. It bolts right in without any mods as is a quality piece for about $500. I think he makes in both straight and with cat use.
