Hi
My GT3 always starts, but I question how long it takes to crank over before it does so. If left overnight (garaged), it normally fires straight up. Same when starting within say, 1 minute of stopping. Anything else and it probably takes around 10 seconds to start.
Always idles perfectly.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ben.

My V8 always takes several seconds of cranking before she fires, cold or hot. I'm used to it but just occasionally, usually with folk are watching as I am about to leave the car park/petrol station/supermarket it takes a second or two longer than usual. Can be quite embarrassing. But she's never failed me yet....
could be leaking injectors, makes it too rich to start when warm but not a problem when cold as a rich mixture is needed. A short stop is not enough time to leak in any fuel and be a problem. You could try taking the fuel pump fuse out one time to stop the engine then when ready to restart put the fuse back. That way there will be very little fuel pressure to leak past the injectors....
