I just bought myself a 1988 Lotus Esprit Turbo.
Think I paid a good price, car has been in storage for 8 years (although run about 300 miles a year) and in cracking condition aside from needing new petrol tanks (rusted).
I paid 7k for the car, 1k for 2 x alloy fuel tanks plus all ancillaries/ fuel lines plus all new belts.
I have a friend to do the work for a crate of beer (I estimated about 20 hours work -He loves cars and is more than qualified to do it)
Its being transported next monday from Tyne and Wear to Essex so keep an eye out - can't miss it as its pearlescent orange!
