As I just registered after some lurking over the forum, I'll introduce myself :
JP , living in France, owning an elise and currently looking for en Esprit as it's part of my dream garage, and starts to get in my reach price wise.

The classifieds here have a wide selection, and I've focused on S4S, with several for sale at the time

to my surprise, all those seem to be blue, but happy to be proved the opposite

I'd join The Lotus Forum as there are people who there who run these cars on a day to day basis. Just introduce yourself as a new member and ask away, I know there is one guy called Mike who lives near France who knows an awful lot about Lotus cars.
