GT3 alarm

My Esprit is silent when the alarm is triggered, just get the flashing indicators. Is the siren itself powered from an auxillary battery?
Any ideas where to start checking?

Hi there,

Not sure if the alarm has seperate 12V powered siren around the bonnet/ bumper area. I know the alarm unit is inside the car behind dash. If your siren has gone then try Ebay or PNM. I know they have a used V8 alarm because I gave it to him. I don't speak to him thesedays so not sure what he has left of it.

Turns out the siren was unplugged. Took the access cover off from near the airfilter and it was then obvious!
