Just about to purchase an AutoXray EZ Scan 4000. I'm pretty sure than it comes with a standard OBDII yellow plug, which I believe is a 16-pin plug, but reading over a product description it says it comes with an 8-pin plug?? Does anyone have one of these scanners and if so is it ready to go out of the box, or are there any additional plugs/cables that need to be purchased to make it compatible with a year 2000 esprit? Thanks.

Hey there if the contents look the same as the ones pictured on the LEW site your good to go. PC cable and a 16 pin plug. Youll be fine to use on both your cars, works on post 97 and some 2001 cars too smile I couldn’t find the under dash connector at front as mine had been rewired at some point, but theres a fixed plug at the rear by the fuse box by the battery anyway. I can talk you through getting started. Mines packed away in storage for now or I would send it to you smile

Thanks Kylie. Would it be easier if I just mailed my car up to you?

Yeah they do, looks identical, then I came across that damn product description and they talked about an 8-pin plug instead of a 16-pin plug and that threw me.
