How England Won the Ashes in Australia - 2010/11
Discussion
Right, the Summer is over, England won everything, six out of six tournaments or series, all formats.
The Squad is annouced, and as crack a crack unit of cricketers as ever left our sceptred isle they are too.
Aussies are bound to get lucky once, and one will be a draw, so England will win 3-1
Jimmy Andersen leading wicket taker
Andrew Strauss over 500 for the series
What say our Antipodeans?
Well as someone that traveled to the Gabba and was "lucky" enough to see Harmison shove the first ball down second slips throat from perfect seats behind the bowlers arm...I'm quite nervous.
Two or three of our key batsmen have got massive issues with their form and our bowlers whilst being a good unit have either not done well in Australia before or never played there. Swann is the key man for England...if he bowls as well as he can we're a massive shout. The team spirit is also a massive plus. I also hope Mitchell Johnson is as bad as he was over here!

and Pietersen, and Collingwood ...I read Agnew's column on BBC site this morning, and he reckoned England's eleven for the first test would be:
Agnew said:
Andrew Strauss, Alastair Cook, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood and either Ian Bell or Eoin Morgan - wicketkeeper Matt Prior, lone spinner Graeme Swann and three seamers - James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Steven Finn.
I'm not sure how Collingwood continues to be a certain starter ... I would take both Bell and Morgan before him.ammw said:
