As the new season is just around the corner I thought I'd put this here, smile
My Jets have finally signed Darelle Revis for lots, so now have the best pair of corners in the league, now time for Sanchez to wake up.
How are your team going to do?

(I say no haters, past efforts suggest they might be the only thing to keep this thread alive biggrin)

Huge Raider fan here, and have been since the late 80's. Being a kid at school and sometimes got confused when they said 'football'!

Think things are on the up for us, but I think that every year.

Also making another trip over to the States this year to see some games with some like minded mates. Dallas, New Orleans and Houston, with hopefully a college game at LSU and maybe even High School as that's the one level of football we've not yet seen live smile

There's obviously the internet, but if I were to want to watch a few games, what means of access do I require?
I think Channel 4 are showing some this season.

Maybe Gamepass.nfl.com has various subscriptions, this is how I'll be watching all my Jets games.

I'd love to follow it this year, but present location may limit my watching - 5am starts may be a bit too much for me, unless the Eagles make the playoffs!

laugh oops, maybe not live then?

Why do they put them on at such stupid times then?

And also, if the games arent even live, why do they still show all the stupid adverts? I would have thought a highlight replay of the game would cut all that out?

Yes live, those are the games sky show, channel four have the late game live which starts at around midnight.
The NFL are doing two monday night games now(ESPN), one starts late followed by the other &*%$£ing late(if your an early riser you can watch the game live tuesday morning around four, (in the evening there obviously).
Also the odd thursday night game thrown in.(sky)
The timings in the US are to have most games at lunch time and three in the afternoon on sunday.

I am indeed planning to watch this year.. after playing in here in the UK (BAFACL for those that know) for too many years I am now 'retired' to spend more time watching it and shouting at the TV.. bring on the beer and snacks.

go niners.. (I am nothing if not optimistic)

Also I hope they bring back the snorting channel4 logo thing, it will be like the 80's again smile

Haha, and Frankie goes to Hollywood. 49ers are the only team not to lose a pre-season game..

I've got the DVD box set at home. It's maybe the finest sports docu ever made IMHO! NFL Films is the one company in the sports tv industry that has a real look and feel about it, I could, and sometimes have watched their stuff all day long nerd

I am with beefcake42; quietly optimistic that the 9ers can go places this season (we had better do as the div is that weak) QB still worries me but other than that we have made astute signings and kept those we need to keep.

Are the Redskins gonna bomb again this year? I always preferred listening to Armed Forces Radio, with their completely unbiased home-commentators hehe

Alwyas loved the silver and black here.

Are there any weekly highlight shows? And are the Raiders actually going to make it on to TV?

Another Raider fan smile

I'm not sure if we will make it to Sky this year, I know we have one Sunday night game at least, so that should be shown.
