Brilliant match, Blackpool deserved it on the day, Cardiff just looked knackered at times. Good luck Blackpool in the top flight next season.

This is something....I dont know.

I cant actually say what this means. It doesnt make sense. This isnt about football, its somewhere far far away. It probably doesnt make sense to anybody else, but it means more than just about football.

Well done Blacky!
One thing though - What are they going to do regarding the stadium? Doesn't it hold something daft like 12,000 odd at the moment?

As for Cardiff, if they keep the tax man at bay and can keep the team & manager in place, next year is arguably the best opportunity for automatic promotion in some time, as it is for quite a few of the other teams who were there or there abouts. Realistically, I'm not sure any of the 3 teams relegated from the Prem this season will post much of a threat next season, parachute payments or not.
If I were Chairman of a Championship side, I'd be rooting down the back of the sofa for a few quid - Now or never.

Last time I was at Blackpool the ground only had two sides!!!

And that was not too long agao!

I think one of the relegated Prem teams won't exist this time next year.

Apparently they are extending the stadium to hold 20k. Currently holds 11k i think at the moment.

Last time I was there I think most of it was condemned. Calling it a st hole would have been a bit rude to your average toilet. Mind you, that was a few years ago.

I'd say none of the relegated teams are in what you would call rude health and I wouldn't be surprised if both Portsmouth and Hull go west. They're both up st creek in a big way and I just can't see what they might offer to potential investors, well honest ones at least. Much better to try and pick up one of the better Championship teams and take them up.
