One thing though - What are they going to do regarding the stadium? Doesn't it hold something daft like 12,000 odd at the moment?
As for Cardiff, if they keep the tax man at bay and can keep the team & manager in place, next year is arguably the best opportunity for automatic promotion in some time, as it is for quite a few of the other teams who were there or there abouts. Realistically, I'm not sure any of the 3 teams relegated from the Prem this season will post much of a threat next season, parachute payments or not.
If I were Chairman of a Championship side, I'd be rooting down the back of the sofa for a few quid - Now or never.

And that was not too long agao!

t hole would have been a bit rude to your average toilet. Mind you, that was a few years ago.I'd say none of the relegated teams are in what you would call rude health and I wouldn't be surprised if both Portsmouth and Hull go west. They're both up s
