Astute sporting pundit or blinged up buffoon?

I'm really not sure although I suspect the latter. He seems to say very non-specific remarks about the players and how they've done. Maybe it's because there's no strategy to darts : it's simply how accurately you can throw a dart : what else is there to say.

His presence didn't seem to lend a great deal of extra content to the coverage last time I saw him do his thing. I guess it keeps him out of trouble for a bit.

How much do you reckon you'd get for him at one of those "cash 4 gold" type places?

Doesn't he also live in a house that shaped like a darts flight?

Darts isn't what I'd define as a sport. It is a test of accuracy, a good day out an d a bit of a p*ss up. You can tell just how seriously the BBC are taking it now as a former showbiz presenter is taking the lead along with Bobby.

Thought the World Darts was last week? What's the one on now?

he's a total characature of an east end gangster - he would have looked out of place as Archie Mitchell.

Not sure if you know this (hence the post) but during the PDC (Proper Darts Competition wink) he was advertising one of those Cash 4 Gold websites during the breaks. Cringeworthy!

I didn't know that smile

So they don't melt it down and sell it on, they just give all the moody gold to Bobby for a bit of cash.
