Sports analysis software
Discussion
Can anyone recommend sports analysis software for a budget conscious rugby club.
We are not after all singing/dancing. Just enough to allow real time downloading from a mini DV or whatever, real-time isolating of incidents and also doing it later from downloaded video or a DVD.
Given the name/shame rules on here, if anyone has one they would suggest barbed wire is put around, please PM me.

That's a bit pricy for us. Three licences, plus a couple of laptops, comes in at £6000. I'm not after open source, just something perhaps in the middle.http://www.dartfish.com/en/software/index.htm
I've used that and, as you say, it is very likeable but there's two ex-props and a nutty hooker (the only kind) on the committee. I have fears of where they might stick my business case if I went in with those figures.
