got to give it to Charlize Theron, during the dress rehersal yesterday she picked France from one of the bowls, showed it to the camera and said 'Ireland'

AFAIK that can indeed happen and would be one of the worst case scenarios really, although saying that, USA arent that much bother IMO, Ivory Coast the main fear of them is that Chelsea Scum Diver and France struggled (cheated0 to beat Ireland

McClaren Eagland would struggle to qualify from that group

Capello England, who knows? If people stay fit and he takes enough strikers, which we always fail to do

well, if we don't take a striker we have no intention of usieng a la walcott lat time then we'll do better.

i expect semi finals but we need a sense of perspective too.

every team has a bad game in a tourney.

you can peak too soon.

there is always an underdog that comes through.

we should definitely practice penalties.

I'm looking forward to the glamour group of South Africa, North Korea, Uruguay and Slovakia. Bound to happen just to ensure the hosts make it through the first round.

BBC have calculated the odds at 1/530... (assuming the draw isn't fixed wink)
