Oh FFS, can I say as an Irishman that I do not support this. The night it happened I said, 'st thats terrible but what can you do thats just sport'.

The media here and across the globe have blown this out of all proportion, yes France cheated yes the incident needs to be looked at but its over, we aren't going, simple as that. Dragging it out for weeks on end just makes us look like pathetic sore losers.

Injustice is part of sport, some days it works against you, some days for. But please, either way, just move on.

Costa Rica also have applied so they could bring in TWO extra teams - which would work out smile

They could have a pre tournament play-off - the Irish love play-offs.

This is dragging out a bit isn't it?

Yes the Henry incident was complete ste and typical FIFA bks but the best we (the Irish) can hope to get out of this is that it doesn't happen again and Blatter finally relents on video refing.

What I don't understand is why the Irish feel they deserve to be at the finals?

They deserve a penalty shoot-out with France, nothing more, surely?
