Hello all,

Don't recall seeing a squash related post on here before but thought I may as well give it a shot as there doesn't seem to be many active squash forums.
Can't find many racket reviews either.
No local squash specialists and I'd like to keep postal demo rackets to a minumum.
Played a handfull of times, and absolutely love the sport. Now looking to get myself a racket as I don't have my own.
I'd like a head light racket with Loads of feel, (willing to re-string) acuracy and power.

Budget is unlimited, anyone gone any recomendations?

Cheers

I play alot of squash at least 4 times a week more like 5 or 6.
Best racket I have had by far is the Prince 03 speedport black. Fantastic sweet spot, light and feels excellent. Trawl the internet and get a deal - best I manahged was £107 inc delivery. You won't be disappointed.
Good Luck !

If you're a relative squash newbie, there is little point in going out & spending £100 plus on a racquet.

Get something half decent, last years model at a knock down price whilst your game develops. Once you are playing consistently and know what works and doesn't for you, then look at strings, and tensions, again some people prefer a low tension, whilst others prefer a high. Then worry about replacing racquets when you have broken yours!

Most manufacturers list the balance points of their respective racquets now so you can work out what are the head heavy/head light ones. bear in mind most come poorly strung with cheap tat at a low tension. If you prefer some 'feel' to your racquet you will need to up the tension when it comes to restring time smile
