Have i been sold the wrong size board?
Discussion
Just come back from my local snow boarding shop with a brand new board and bindings. However im not sure if the board is the correct size for me. The shop dude said it would be fine but im having doubts
Its a 155cm board and im 5ft 9 and 15 stone. (i don't play rugby i just like food)
My old board is a 161 but it was second hand so it wasn't sized for me anyway.
What do you guys think?

I would say that's slightly on the short side for someone who has any desire to play in the fluffy stuff. For general piste riding you'll be fine and the shorter size would be a benefit in the park, but if you want to be finding your own way down the mountain you'll have a hard time keeping afloat.
I ride a 156 and weigh in at about 13 stone, I'm a qualified instructor so I like to think I'm a pretty good boarder.
I personally would not go shorter than a 156, it's very good for park/piste/jib riding but a little short for powder.
If you have large feet, 9+, then you really need a wide/mid-wide board.
I think a 155 is a little on the small side to be honest. At your weight and hight I'd be edging towards something around 157 in length, maybe even longer. There's nothing wrong with having a longer board, it wont affect your riding at all. 157-159 is a good all round length allowing on piste and off piste riding. A shorter board is more suited to park riding and jibbing, they give you better pop and easier rotation on jumps but you would struggle in the deep white stuff.
I'd go for a longer board!

Nice board, twin, good length and good price it would seem.
Let us know what you think of the banana rocker, I've yet to ride one. I'm keen on grabbing a skate banana but not spending the dosh until I try one.
rocker is the way forward!! iv just got hold of my K2 turbo dream and its just amazing, iv changed form an 07/08 K2 believer which was great but the rocker takes riding to a new level. ok yes some say its cheating but its brilliant iv didnt catch any edges the first time i rode it, awsome for jibing and awsome powder performance (havent tried that bit yet) im not going back to camber!!Let us know what you think of the banana rocker, I've yet to ride one.
