Did the Birmingham Half Marathon today - Well Chuffed
Discussion
Yep, as the title says I completed the Brummie Half Marathon.
I've done a couple of 5K and 10K fun runs but this is the longest I've ever run.
Trained on and off for the last two months, about two to three times a week but never got to running more than 1.5 hours so was a little worried about the length today.
Anyhow, all was good except the last mile when my legs felt like rubber, breathing and stamina was no worries though.
Final time was 2hours 14 mins but my one goal was not to stop running, which I achieved.
This 40 year old (almost) is well happy

Thanks to the diversions for this "event" I was 40 mins late to work and about 30 mins late home.I've done a couple of 5K and 10K fun runs but this is the longest I've ever run.
