Does any do this / doing this?!..

The wife and her sister are doing this for the first time this year and wants me to drop her off and pick up as she doesn't want to do the train - anyone know what the traffic is going to be like from past experience?!.. I'm assuming total mayhem!.. Would I be better parking up in the morning and spending the day in the pub!.. Doh - no can't as I'd need to drive back!.. Shopping it is then - I hate shopping!..
