A couple of points:

£12 if you sign up late? I doubt they will get a single person paying 12 quid to watch a game, even if it was a qualifier against Brazil/Spain/Argentina they would struggle.

1 million subscribers will be 2.5 million viewers? So the vast majority of people will be watching this on their own or with one other person? Even at £5, its only worth it if you get a bunch of mates together to make the price less than a quid each, I dont understand where they got the 1m = 2.5m from.

Not a fan of football but how does an internet feed transpose to the big screen?

Wonder how many takers there will be given the love of betting in parts of the world. Thinking of the numbers they are thinking of.

You just know it's going to be poor quality... I won't even bother as I've got ADSL which doesn't cope too well with live streams.

unfkingbelievable - i take it this means we cant watch it down the pub? just as the gov wants - us all glued to our screens watching adverts rather than going out with friends enjoying life for real. its the national team ffs dont we pay for the footy association with part of taxes etc not to mention the licence fee. hey ive an idea dont pay ross 16 million and pay for something half the country actually want to see. s

Looks like I'll be watching it at home then.

Good job that a Turkish satellite channel is showing it Free To Air. One advantage of having a motorised satellite dish

Looks like there are 8 satellite stations broadcasting the game, so I'm sure there will be internet feeds to watch

Such poor timing as well!!!

The first game 'AFTER' we have already qualified. So essentially, a non important game.

Absolute disgrace if you ask me. When the online connection in this country is soooo poor, and to actually 'Charge' people for the (lack of) service is criminal.

Which is why neither BBC nor ITV would pay for it.

Yep - its not the ideal situation but I love football and I love my country - so what's my options???

Sopcast I suppose - but if its not on that then your rogered for the full £12 instead of the up-until-wednesday £5 price.

Justin.tv won't have it - which means Iraqgoals.net probably won't either.

Whats a girl to do?
