So Newcastle have just drawn 17-17 with Quins. That's 3 draws from their first 4 games of the season.

Given that there were only 8 drawn games in the whole of the Guinness Premiership for the previous 2 seasons put together, what are the odds that one club would have a record like this in a season?

Well I think it's pretty bloody unusual!

Draws might be typical results in football, or cricket, but in the first 4 games of the season, Newcastle have already drawn as many games than all the teams in the whole of the 07/08 season of 132 games.

I've no idea how to calculate the actual statistics, but that's surely got to be exceptional?

I went to this game, and if I was a Falcons fan I would be more worried about that less than 6k people turned up. Why play a London Team on Friday night? Newcastle United FC played away on Saturday so why not play on a saturday afternoon when more people would turn up, plus £27 per ticket to sit in line with the tryline was way to much!!!

How much?? The most expensive seats at London Irish are only £30!
