Premier League Table - Is It The Same Old-Same Old...?

Anyone else noticed how, after only 6 games, the Premier League Table is once again taking on the look of the Usual Suspects?




I mean if Arsenal (+9), Villa (+5) & City (+5) all win their games in hand (say) 1-0 then guess who nips into 4th spot on Goal difference!

That would make the table look exactly how most pundits/commentators etc thought it would look at the end of the bloody season - not this early on.

It really is getting like the Scottish & Spanish leagues <groan>

Although Spurs, Man City & Villa have all acquitted themselves reasonably well so far its looking ominous - which is a shame because I thought that this year (out of all the recent years) the other teams had a fair chance of finally breaking this cartel up.

I live in hope but fear the worst...

Thats it..... time for a Super League, as the table stands now top 6 to play the cream of Europe.

Unfortunatly Arsenal don't appear to have made the grade.

I dont see the problem really, I look at the league as a group of mini-leagues:

Top 4; then I'd say Man City, Spurs, Villa & Everton, then the rest with some surprises (Burnley so far - will they 'do a Hull') and some predictable results (Pompey will lose, so will Hull). There's a reasonable chance Man City might squeeze into the top four - who might the displace? Can Spurs maintain their form? etc etc..... & its also far too early to write off the season as being predictable, we're only 6 games in after all.
